Seems like it used to be a lot better than it is now. We haven't been there for quite a while. Food only fair. Also seems like it needs a good scrub down & freshening up! Don't think well go back.

Great local place. Food is amazing! Service is top notch 👌Had the Chicken Quesadilla Grande Combo (#9) and it was absolutely delicious! Great place to eat in groups, but singles shouldn't stay away.If you want to save some 💸, then I suggest splitting the big plates as they offer a great amount for the price. Also the fried ice cream was amazing !

THIS PLACE IS CONSISTENTLY THE VERY BEST MEXICAN FOOD AROUND FOR MILES. IT'S DEFINITELY THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD RESTAURANT ANYWHERE IN OCEANSIDE AND VISTA. IT'S ALWAYS FRESH, FLAVORFUL, AND MADE TO PERFECTION. I LOVE EL RANCHERO!
